Our Team

Andrea Niemann, CPA

Shareholder Andrea Niemann is a co-founder of the Firm and has more than 31 years of experience in public accounting. Her areas of expertise are tax planning, compliance and client representation services, with an emphasis on real estate, construction, medical and professional service companies. Andrea has provided audits and accounting services to nonprofit organizations, investment companies, governmental entities and small businesses. Andrea graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Florida, where she also earned a Master of Taxation. She is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Andrea also served on the Council for the FICPA and continues to serve on the Board for the Central Florida Estate Planning Council.

Richard M. Ornstein, CPA

Principal Richard joined WR & Associates, P.A. as of January 1, 2021. Previously, he was a Tax Partner at Glickstein Laval Carris, P.A. from 2005-2020 and the Firm's Managing Partner from 2010-2020. Prior to that, Richard was the Director of Taxation with Reponen, Ornstein and Co., P.A., from 1985-2005. Prior to 1985, Richard's experience includes two national CPA firms. He is heavily involved with the monitoring of tax legislation and its impact upon clients and has a special emphasis in the areas of estate and retirement planning, federal and state income taxation, business entity structures, passive loss rules and foreign investment in U.S. real estate. He has been a public speaker for the Central Florida Chapter of Certified Public Accountants and several other national organizations as well as serving as president of the Central Florida Chapter of the FICPA during 2008 and 2009. Richard received his Master's Degree in Accounting with an emphasis in taxation from the University of Arizona, Tucson, in 1981 and his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science in 1976 from Allegheny College, Meadville Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Central Florida Estate Planning Council.

John Darcy, CPA

Tax Manager John joined WR & Associates, PA in 2024 as a Senior Tax Manager. John has considerable experience in core tax areas specializing in tax planning for individuals and businesses, both large and small, particularly purchase and sale, mergers, efficient group structures and international matters. John received his BA degree in accounting from Belmont Abbey College (NC) and his MBA in Taxation from St. John’s University (NY).

Jean joined WR & Associates, P.A. in July of 2024. He is a proud New Yorker with diverse accounting knowledge to both NY and Central Florida. Jean has experience in tax preparation, corporations, partnerships, and bookkeeping. He is dedicated to providing top-notch financial services & insight for all of his clients.

Debra Morales

Tax Accountant

Debra joined WR & Associates, P.A. in the Spring of 2023. Debra is a seasoned accountant in the US & Puerto Rico, with a deep rooted passion for financial stewardship and client centric service. As a longtime Orlando native, she has cultivated a strong sense of community which she uses to tailor her services to the unique needs of her clients.

Cynthia S. Wilber

Of Counsel

Cindy (Wydra) Wilber retired as a CPA from WR & Associates, P.A. as of December 31, 2021 after more than 35 years in public accounting. Cindy was a co-founder of the Firm and will continue to be "Of Counsel" by providing accounting services to her client base.

Kathi McClemens

Firm Administrator

Kathi joined WR & Associates in August of 2022 as the firm administrator. Aa a native to charming Winter Park, Kathi uses her UCF education & local expertise to streamline operations and support the WR & Associates, P.A. team.

Julie Hawxhurst

Bookkeeper

Julie joined WR & Associates as an independent contractor in June of 2021. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration/ Entrepreneurship from the University of Central Florida. She specializes in QuickBooks and small business accounting. Julie has nearly 20 years of accounting experience. She has worked with various companies including real estate, manufacturing, retail, professional service, and the construction industry.

Coleman Smith

Intern

Coleman joined WR & Associates, P.A. as our newest intern in August of 2024. He is currently pursuing his accounting degree at the University of Central Florida & carries a passion for numbers & financial literacy.

William Niemann

Staff Accountant

William joined WR & Associates, P.A. in July 2024. William holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Florida State University & is committed to utilizing his knowledge & skills to drive financial success for his clients.
